Professor Sir Dieter Helm, CBE delivers the annual New College Society London Lecture

The New College Society held its annual London Lecture at the London School of Economics and Political Science last night (Thursday 16 May 2024).

This year’s lecture, entitled “Legacy: How to build the sustainable economy”, was given by Professor Sir Dieter Helm, CBE, Fellow in Economics at the New College, and Professor of Economic Policy at the University of Oxford.

Over 100 Old Members and their guests gathered for the event, comprised of a welcome drinks reception followed by Sir Dieter’s lecture, in the LSE's Wolfson Theatre.
