New College students and Old Members gather for City & Professional Network Drinks

Over forty New College students and Old Members gathered at Scale Space, an innovation and start-up hub on Imperial College’s White City Campus, for City & Professional Network Drinks last night. Michael Holmes (2004) discussed his career path to becoming CEO of Scale Space, and the lessons he would give to his twenty-year-old self. Old Members from all generations were in attendance, and one of the real benefits of networking drinks is the relationships which develop between alumni at different career stages, as well as across professional fields. It was a particularly good to see so many students as well, as they prepare applications for competitive graduate courses across the City, from law to consulting and finance.

If you are a New College Old Member who would like to join the invitation list for the City & Professional Network, which typically holds one or two events per year, please email oldmembers@new.ox.ac.uk.
