OLD MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILY ARE WELCOME TO NEW COLLEGE
We look forward to welcoming you back to College
Visiting the College
Old Members and their families are welcome back to College. If you are planning a visit, we do just suggest you call ahead to the Development Office (01865 279509) to check that the College is not going to be closed for any reason and so that we can make the porters aware of your forthcoming visit. Entry is via the main Holywell Street entrance. It is worth checking the planned closures page. Also, if you have one, please do bring along your alumni card, so that our porters can regcognise you as an Old Member.
Dining Rights
Any member of the College with a BA or equivalent, or any postgraduate degree, is warmly invited to dine at High Table with a guest, during full term, three times a year (or more often by permission of the Sub-Warden); a nominal charge is made. The Senior Common Room will be at your disposal before and after dinner. (NB The SCR is closed on Saturday evenings). If you would like to enquire about dining at High Table please email the Development Office.
Guest Rooms
Old Members are welcome to book guest rooms in College. The Bed and Breakfast rate for Old Members is £68.10 per person per night. Regrettably, we are unable to host anyone under the age of 18. For more information, please email the Development Office at oldmembers@new.ox.ac.uk or call 01865 279509 with the date(s) you have in mind and we will forward your request accordingly. If College accommodation is unavailable, may we offer an alternative such as Oxford Rooms or Oxford University Campus Maps.
Alumni Card
Old Members may apply for an Alumni Card. The Alumni Card will give you easy access to New College and all other Colleges in the University. See the University website for more information on the benefits available to you.
Graduation and Transcripts
Please visit our dedicated graduation and transcripts page to find out more.
'Historic graduands' and potential MA (Oxon) graduands should contact student.services@new.ox.ac.uk for information on available ceremony dates. MA (Oxon) degrees can be conferred in person at our ceremonies or in absentia at any one of the ceremonies across the University (https://www.ox.ac.uk/students/graduation/ceremonies).
