Rageh Omaar visits New College to speak to students

Rageh Omaar, one of New College's most well-known Old Members, returned to College this week to give a talk to students. Rageh, who currently the International Affairs Editor of ITV News, is a Dummett Visiting Fellow at New College.

New College created the Dummett Visiting Fellowships to increase the diversity of backgrounds and areas of expertise available to students. They are in post for three years, giving talks, running workshops, and participating in the College's social and cultural activities. Each of the Dummett Fellows is a successful individual from a group which is currently under-represented in their industry or in Oxford's academic community.

In the talk, Rageh spoke to students about his life and career. This was then followed by a Q&A session which allowed students to ask questions and share experiences.
