New College Notes—issue 22 now published

The twenty-second issue of New College, Oxford’s scholarly open-access e-journal New College Notes (ISSN 2517–6935) is now published.

This latest issue includes articles on: beautiful birds and beasts in Bede; reviving Arabic at New College with a prayer book; a medieval monster manuscripts mash; and jobs for the boys in Anglican Italy.

Contributors include: Antje G. Frotscher, Naide Gedikli Gorali, Robert Gullifer, Jessica Hodgkinson, and Jessica Rahardjo.

New College Notes is dedicated to research articles and learned notes on the history and life of New College, and especially the contents and history of the rich collections of New College Library & Archives, Oxford.  Potential contributors are invited to contact the Librarian.
