New College holds LGBTQIA+ reception and dinner
The New College Society welcomed generations of LGBTQIA+ New College Old Members and students for a celebration last month.
The afternoon began with a drinks reception in the Warden’s Lodgings, followed by a three-course lunch with coffee, chocolates and wines in the South Undercroft.
David Isaac, CBE was the guest of honour and spoke about his life and career. David is currently Provost of Worcester College and was appointed Chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission in 2016.
Following lunch, the College Archivist, Michael Stansfield, led a walking tour of the college where he gave fascinating insights about the history of the College.
Evensong in Chapel rounded off a thoroughly enjoyable day.
