New College celebrates Parents' Day

On Saturday 18 May, New College hosted its annual Open Day for the parents/guardians of first year students. This event allows students to show their family around College at the mid-point of term away from the busy start and end of term. 

The day started with a drinks reception in the main college garden, followed by lunch in the Founder’s Library. After lunch guests has the opportunity to view an exhibition from the library and see the JCR Art Collection before enjoying afternoon tea in the Cloisters. The day ended with Evensong. The weather was glorious, and a lovely day was had by all.
