Concert to celebrate Professor Karen Leeder

Passers-by in New College Lane on Sunday evening might have been surprised by the sound of Eisler's Solidarity Song being sung by the audience at the Warden's Recital and emanating from the Tower Room in some force!

It was part of a programme of Brechtian music by Eisler and Weill to celebrate Professor Karen Leeder, who left the College last year following almost 30 years with us. George Robarts - a former pupil of Karen's - sung, accompanied by Edward Picton-Turbervill. Undergraduates Isobel Cooper and Ella Craddock also gave reading from Brecht.

A big thank you to Karen for all her work and contributions to New College over the years!
