New College Society City and Professional Network Event – Tuesday, 12 November 2024

The New College Society City and Professional Network looks forward to welcoming New College Old Members to a Talk and Drinks Reception kindly hosted at the offices of Evercore, 15 Stanhope Gate, London W1K 1LN (map) by Alexander Asher (2006), Ros Ogilvie-Gilbert (2009) and Arjun Perumalpillai (2010) on Tuesday 12 November 2024.

The drinks and canapés will be from 6.30 to 8.30pm with the talk commencing at 7.00pm.

Ian Hart (1984) and Chris Jillings (1981) have kindly agreed to give a short talk around current observations on UK Takeovers and Mergers. Ian is Chairman of UK Global Banking at UBS, having just completed a three-year secondment as Director General of the Takeover Panel, the UK’s regulatory body for the conduct of all public takeovers and mergers. Chris has held the full-time role as Deputy Director General since 2008, having previously been a Managing Director at Citi.

Whilst our list of those working in or connected to the City continues to evolve, please spread the word to other contemporaries working in appropriate professions who might be keen to be included.
